I would like to welcome all to the home of The Last Ember, my name is Omar Bauomy, and I am the lead author of this project. I am writing to you here today with an idea. Ever since I was young, works like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter captivated me. The authors respectively to their mediums to new bounds. Two wildly different approaches to world building, but two masterpieces none the less. I am here today,because those projects started off as merely ideas as well, because crafting a world of wonder, and a riveting narrative is what I am trying to do. Growing up my bestfriend and I were a very adventurous. The area he grew up in was kind of rural, so naturally we would just wander about, spinning yarn the entire time, imagining a bright and vibrant world. It was only natural that if there was a hill, we had to get over it. It wasn’t too soon after that, my bestfriend and I began crafting this world of ours. Although it was a great world, the worlds we created was ultimately in our heads. He passed away four years ago, but no torch ever just goes out, no we are always left with an Ember. Looking back I think of all the time I wasted being sad, when the answer was right in front of me. I want to bring to life that magical world that he and I created. A vast world, with a vast cast of characters, and a world filled with breathtaking views, a soft whinsimcle world, with its crazy twists and turns, with a touch of human nuance to make it all together blend into a beautiful world. A story about two boys, making there way up that steep hill. I am aiming to write a blend of manga/graphic novel, trying to mimic the story telling done in manga and transitioning it to more fans here in the US! We are going to set up a kickstarter, to help raise funds to help to pay for artists and animators, website help, advertisements, everything! I will be posting updates regularly to let you guys know where we are timeline wise.
